A proud resident of the Waterloo Region, Nik has spent his entire adult life in Kitchener-Waterloo, where his family is firmly rooted in the community. His local knowledge runs deep, shaped by years of living, working, and building relationships in the area. Nik’s journey began at the University of Waterloo, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts while competing as a three-year Warrior on the Men’s Varsity Basketball Team and serving as team captain in his final season. He later completed a Bachelor of Education and spent several years teaching English and Math, experiences that sharpened his communication skills and patient, thoughtful approach—qualities that continue to define how he serves his clients today.

Nik began his real estate career in 2004 and quickly rose to elite levels of production, earning recognition among Canada’s top-performing brokers. Over the years, he has played key leadership roles, co-founding Engel & Völkers Waterloo Region and serving as Managing Partner in York Region, before continuing his work with Corcoran Horizon Realty. As Director of Growth for Corcoran Horizon Realty, Nik helped expand the brand and continues to train and mentor the brokerage’s agents. Beyond real estate, Nik is an active community member and adventurer—an avid pickleball player, fitness enthusiast, top-ranked Google restaurant reviewer, and passionate traveler.
